Graduate/Post-graduate profile

A bachelor's degree graduate of Archival science and auxiliary historical sciences is equipped with knowledge of modern archival theory and practice, and history of administration; s/he also gains a general orientation in the auxiliary historical sciences and basic expert and language requirements for working with archival material, especially from the modern period and modern times. Gained education can be applied in all types of archive processing and storing modern materials in record offices, in public service offices and institutions, museums and other cultural and historical organisations, as well as in tourism.

A master’s degree graduate of Archival science and auxiliary historical sciences is equipped with a good knowledge of the auxiliary historical sciences, archival theory and practice and history of administration for work with archival material of all types, also for editing of historical sources and professional work with written historical sources. Gained education can be applied in all types of archives, public service, museums, libraries managing historical collections, and other cultural and historical organisations or in publishing houses and editorial offices of historical literature.
